Slogans – Your Business Identity that Affect How People Buy

While slogans may or may not be apart of the feature of the product you are selling, savvy advertisers’ uses slogans to extend a message. When used properly, slogans are like magic beans.
Companies use it to give their company or their products an identity that separates them from other offerings. Effective slogans give you a message or a picture in your mind what the company represents even before a specific product is mentioned. Savvy advertisers use it all the time.

Slogans are adopted to serve the following objectives.

• To illustrate a company’s’ technical skills, expertise, facilities and services.

A one tightly packed phrase that speaks well of what your company or product is about can improve your business and your profits right away. It is like hitting a gold mine.

• It tells your customer that you are unique. It gives you an identity.
• It separates you form the pack.
• It gives you the competitive and credible brand image that you can use for all your marketing activities.
• It gives you the edge to compete with larger companies that has none or poorly conceptualized slogans
• Most important of all, it gives the customers the confidence to come to you and beg for your product. Good slogans set a trend.

Companies that has successful slogans usually charges premium for their product or has products that is continuously south after by customers. The Nike brand for example, sells by extension all the other products it can come out, not only its shoes. You have the same for Gucci and other products that by identification to its original offering extend the same credibility to all its product extensions.

Slogans can be used as part of your product name, your logo, your banner, your address, Logo Design, Collateral Materials, Ad campaigns, business card, anything that can advance the giving of the identity that will set your products in the most favorable light.

The trick is to come out with a unique phrase that tells the customer what it can do for them while at the same time injecting your values.

Creating slogans however is tricky, one wrong word and the future of your business might be heavily affected.
If you are not very sure of the slogan to adopt or your are not that comfortable with the slogan you have now, it is best to consult a professional advertising agency. The dividends that it can give you will pay handsomely in over time.

If the slogan means something to the customer, it can change your business dramatically. Immediately the number of customers waiting in line for your products will increase because of the identity it has created. You can use the slogans repeatedly for other products that you come out and the advertising for these will not be as difficult owing to the identity that your brands have already created.
